Material Kit Shipping Information
Delivery Timeline
Your custom barndominium kit will be manufactured and shipped within a timeframe estimated by Barndo Kit Co, as determined by current manufacturing lead times and market supply. Manufacturing and shipping will begin at time of order confirmation and payment processing under most circumstances. Order processing begins immediately upon receipt of your signed plans and payment.
Shipping Coverage
We ship complete barndominium kits to addresses across the majority of the United States. Delivery is arranged and fulfilled directly by our manufacturing partners using specialized freight carriers experienced in handling construction materials. International Shipping: We currently do not ship outside the U.S.
Order Processing
All orders are processed after payment confirmation based on all of the materials being invoiced. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing high volume and pending material selections, processing may be delayed. We will contact you via email if there will be any significant delays in your order.
Delivery Process
- Freight Delivery: All kits are delivered via freight truck to your specified delivery address
- Site Requirements: Delivery site must be accessible by standard freight vehicles and have adequate space for unloading
- Delivery Notification: You will receive advance notice of delivery date and approximate time window from the manufacturer's logistics team
- Customer Inspection Required: Upon delivery, you must conduct a thorough inspection of all materials while the delivery driver is present
- Document Everything: Note any damage or discrepancies on the delivery receipt before signing. Take photos of any damaged materials. The delivery receipt is critical for filing damage claims
- Driver Acknowledgment: Ensure the delivery driver acknowledges and signs off on any damage noted on the delivery receipt
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Barndo Kit Co. is not responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
Digital Plan Delivery and Access
Instant Digital Delivery
Digital barndominium construction plans are delivered immediately upon payment confirmation through our secure download portal.
Download Access
- Immediate Access: Plans are available for download within minutes of purchase confirmation
- Duration of Access: You retain download access as long as the download link remains active
- Multiple Downloads: You may re-download your purchased plans at any time through your download link, as long as the link remains active
- File Format: Plans are provided in digital format requiring standard digital file viewing software
Technical Requirements
- Internet connection for initial download
- Digital file viewing software (Adobe Reader, browser PDF viewer, or equivalent)
- Device capable of viewing and printing digital files
- Adequate storage space for plan files (typically 5-50 MB per plan set)
Download Support
We provide limited technical support for download issues related to our system. Customer technical difficulties with their own devices, software, or internet connection are the customer's responsibility to resolve.
